John Crask (b 1769)


For several generations they seem to have been in north-east Norfolk, England.



John is thought to have been bborn in Bacton, Norfolk, England and baptised on 6 February 1769.  John's parents may have been - John Crask and Mary Ward[2].

John Crask & Susannah (Susan) Neve

John and Susannah were married on either 11 or 19 January 1807 in Northrepps, Norfolk, England[1].  There are two entries in Ref 1.  Ref 3 has the date as 13th.

They were married in the parish church, St Mary The Virgin.

Susannah was baptised on 25 June 1776 in Smallburgh, Norfolk, England.  

Her parents were Samuel Neve and Mary[1,2].

John was working as a a Bricklayer when Francis Neve was married in 1842.

John and Susannah had (at least) the following children:-
All these children were baptised in St Mary's, Northrepps.

Only James William, Francis Neve and Mary Ann have been traced further at this stage.
They all found their way to Victoria, Australia.
