Henry Punch was born on 8 March 1856 and baptised on 6 April 1856 at St Anne's Church of England, Limehouse[1].

Henry and his family arrived in Sydney, Australia on 4 October 1857 onboard the clipper ship "Light of the Age" which sailed from London Docklands[3].  

They travelled from England with his aunts, Sarah Ann and her family and Louisa Charlotte and her husband Charles Young.  Henry was ony 1 year old when he made the voyage.

Henry died in 1862, probably in the Bendigo area[3].
