Biography |
Josephus was baptised
at the Harderwijk
Catholic Church on 19 April 1805. His godmother was
his
grandmother, Maria
Sybilla Rinck, who must have travelled from Aldenhoven,
Germany to
be present at the baptism. It appears that he was named after Josephus
Heijden – perhaps an uncle from his older
brother’s, (Antonius)
marriage to Geurtje van der Heiden?
|
At
the time
of his death,
Josephus was unmarried and working as a Baker’s Assistant and living in Akersloot in the municipality of
Krommenie[2]
(approx 20 km NW of Amsterdam). He was only 25 years old. |
Why he moved from Harderwijk to Akersloot we don’t know. |
